- 1. EGA or VGA graphics

- Recommended hardware:

- Installation:
- 1. Create a directory for Tank.
- 2. Copy tank.exe to your Tank directory.

- Running:
- 1. Change to your Tank directory.
- 2. Enter "tank" at the DOS prompt.
- 3. When Tank starts, select whether you want sound or not, and turn on
- the num lock if needed.
- 4. The main menu for Tank appears next. From the main menu you may select
- instructions to view the instructions for Tank. You may also select
- Print manual to print a copy of the instructions.

- Differences between the registered and unregistered verions:
- In the unregistered version you may play seven of the over 13 million
- possible mission/player/alliance combinations. The following features
- are only available in the registered version of Tank:
- 1. 1-4 players human or computer.
- 2. 15 types of missions.
- 3. 18 types of offensive weapons.
- 4. 3 types of defensive weapons.
- 5. Campaign game mode.
- 6. Create, edit, load, save, and use: characters, tanks, and maps.
- 7. Better tanks as your rank increases.
- 8. Choppers.
- 9. Up to 50 units on-screen at once.
- 10. Full control of all game and player options: tanks, mission, squad
- size, etc.
- 11. Reassign player colors and keyboard controls.
- 12. Over 13 million possible mission/player/alliance combinations that
- you can play.
